The Zoo Granby is a great place to visit, especially if you have young kids. There are lots of animals and possibilities for the family. There are picnic tables, a water park and an amusement park on the site. Although the restaurant is a little expensive, the foods available are okay. The place is clean and well-maintained. You can also bring your own food and have a picnic.
The Zoo is organized by continent. You find many animals native to each one of them. For example, in the African continent, you can see elephants, zebras, lions, etc. The zoo has an extensive collection of animals. Therefore, if you have young kids or if you are the kind of person that likes to read all the information about the animal, it will be difficult to visit the entire zoo in one visit. For this reason, I would suggest going early and starting the visit as close as possible to the open hour. In case you do not have the possibility to return to the zoo, you should sort out the order if you want to visit the place in case you do not have enough time.

You can buy your ticket online (https://zoodegranby.com/en/ticketing) or in person. You do not need to reserve the ticket in advance. There is plenty of parking place for free. If you are going to the zoo from Montreal, I would recommend going via the QC-112 E. I think the scenery is much nicer than if you took the A10 E.
The Zoo exhibits animal-related arts every year. It normally starts in the summer and goes until winter. This year the exhibition is called Animabloc. It consists of 26 life-sized animals built of Lego. It is certain that the exhibition will please both kids and grown-ups. The exhibition was set in an open area close to the bush, which gives a very attractive environment. This Is especially true if you visit the zoo during the fall.
